I'm super happy about the re-release of Avenging Force because I missed it the first time.

Quite a variety in this lot. I'd always recommend the great British Ealing comedies of the '40s and '50s to all serious movie fans. They are some of my all-time faves. There has never been anything else quite like them.

Still forever grateful for Kino Lorbers Outer Limits dvds since it had interviews with Joseph Stefano and Anthony Lawrence on there. Especially Stefano who I've hardly ever seen in interviews. Nothing against Serling but he's had a zillion interviews and poor Stefano hardly had any despite his obvious talent. Thumbs up Kino!

I enjoyed your commentary on King of the Rocket Men. I like hearing about the production history, the actors and crew and the history of the genre and you focus on those points. Too many commentaries stray off into tangents. I also loved the serial itself. I love The Ladykillers and Ealing comedy. I have the DVD but I think I'll get the blu-ray.

Hell yeah, I've seen First Love. Caught it on the sCinemax when I was a young'un. The greatest American Hero and a nekkid Laurie Partridge? Teenage me wasn't missing that!

You asked about do they teach history, I can only say in Kentucky, where I live, they don't teach history until high school..which is too late (in my opinion) to build interest in the subject. Also you said you don't listen to commentaries. If you can locate a copy I recommend you listen to David Kalat's commentary for Nosferatu. It's a Eureka’s Masters of Cinema release and probably outta print. He also did some excellent Godzilla commentaries. He mentions all the actors, and gives a ton of information on all his commentaries. I did order Tales of Adventure Collection 4 with your commentary but it hasn't been shipped yet.

Yes. Burn Witch Burn was originally Scorpion Releasing/Kino Lorber. However, it didn’t have both cuts I don’t think, but could be wrong? It’s nice to have the Tim Lucas Commentary and slip case!

Sessue Hayakawa was a major silent film star. Most of us know him as the Commandant of the war prison in BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI. Really looking forward to the early color silent.

Will definitely be picking up ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ in October. If it’s got Jacqueline Bisset, it’s a must purchase!

Thank you for the tip on Babylon Berlin, Heath! I'm always looking for a good show to watch. I'm interested in hearing what you are currently watching on TV as I can't find much at all worth watching for TV shows that are currently on anymore. I've been sticking to movies and older shows I already have on disc because I just can't find something good that vibes with me.

Great roundup. I think Kino Lorber has caught up with Vinegar Syndrome as a company that releases the most wth 4K releases. FIRST LOVE has a very nice score by John Barry. I admire BABYLON BERLIN, but I question whether we are still in the "golden age of television". Especially for comedy shows which are rare as hen's teeth.

First Love was a movie staple of most red blooded young men in the early 80s, 100% due to Susan Dey’s physical assets. Actually, she’s a good actress too.

Fatal Vision?!... No way, that's fantastic! I remember seeing at least some of it as a kid when it aired as a two night event. All I ever recalled for years was a shadowy scene of a killer leaving the scene of the crime and that it was based on a true story, along with some spoilers I won't mention, basically enough to google it years later to find the title and look on YouTube to confirm it was the right program. It looked fairly bad, visually, I'm amazed it's getting an upgrade.
