4:31 - you found an old video that I once created. (had to remove them eventually due to copyright issues and demonetization). 😃
The floppies were not specifically for the Amiga, you had them in 2 flavors: HD or DD, on the pc both were used and on the Amiga mostly the DD floppies were used, but gave a total space of 880 kilobyte. You can find online mountains of samples you can use in Protracker. Also you can add certain accelerators for the Amiga 500 and make it bootable and use a simple SD card as a harddisk. The RGB output of the Amiga only runs on 15hz, which most modern monitors cannot display. You can make it work by using a RGB->Scart (and buy a TV/Monitor with Scart input), or buy the RGB->Scart and a Scart->HDMI, then you can use it on a normal monitor.

You have an A500 plus so there are hard disk to be put it on the side expansion door - if you have the workbench 2.0 or higher installed on the hard disk you can use the DOS driver to read dos disks (8+3 names) or find a more recent crossdos software that can read win 95 long names (can be done even with workbench on disks but you might need a second external drive to make it less PITA) - find some modern expansions like hard disks or a gotek to read disks ad adf files

My first gaming "pc". We i had the A600, there was a handfull of us that talked our parents to buy them us for xmas, saying they would never need to buy us games. My console then was thr saga mastersystem.

I dont think ive ever seem an offical game for an amega. Only ever copied. We all had 100s of games. That must of been thr most pirated computer ever.

it's double densety floppys that work, the HD ones you can format to work with an amiga, But they arn't as realible for keeping your data.
