Lawmakers evacuated as protesters storm U.S. Capitol

Congress had just barely begun to certify the Electoral College vote in the 2020 election, when protesters seeking to overturn President Donald Trump’s loss stormed the building. The Capitol was put on lockdown, members of Congress were told to seek shelter and put on gas masks before they were evacuated. (AP video)
