Mixing Calcium Chloride And Soda Ash | Beginner Guide To Saltwater Aquariums

In this video i show you step by step on how to mix BRS bulk Calcium Chloride and Soda Ash. I will also be making new DIY Dosing Containers for the 125 gallon reef tank. I am using 60 oz glass cylinders with plastic tops that i drill and insert hard air line tubing, the total project was just under $10. This is an easy, space saving project that everyone should do. Such a helpful video! I recently discovered your channel and I love the step by step way you deliver to help out newbs! I love BRS but sometimes fell they can be quite biased so Its nice to get another pros advice that has nothing to gain! I have been prolonging two part for a while because its a big step, maybe just overthinking it but my alk is now getting below the danger zone! it was 6.8 today and all the water changes arent helping anymore! I use 13 alk salt water mix (reef crystals) and usually do 40 percent change but it only upped me to 7.5. the other day, dosnt make sense mathematically! My tank is only 7 months old but added lots of frags not far in between and one of the reasons of putting it off is it drops so randomly! I dont know how I am supposed to figure out a daily dose. I would really apreciate any advice on how to handle that kind of situation! Love your channel. You have a new fan in me! Think I am ready to do this!!!
