The MCU: multiple stories while also having anticipation + an overarching story with huge crossovers and a big bad

The DCU: mostly just self contained stories while sharing one universe with few references and connections

I think this is good and it’s going to allow the directors with more creative freedom. The majority of MCU directors are just helping hands and that’s why a lot of the MCU projects just feel the same

Tbf that's the best approach for DC. Unlike Marvel where the characters were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby with the intention of having them interact, DC characters were created by different people at different times.

The DCU is starting to look and feel very exciting to me. Brand new start, kinda similar to how DC would reboot its series with New 52 or Rebirth. This is gonna rock ❤

people forget we still have teams and families besides the justice league each character has there own family its personally why i love DC we dont need big events like DCeased or DC vs vampires to make teamups just have the titans, TT, batfamily and stuff like that with casual references of the others like Damian saying "my dad taught me how to do this" in teen titans or something like that

Honestly, I prefer this. That will focus on telling good stand-alone stories that somewhat connect with each other than making some cookie cutter superhero movies whose sole purpose is to create a connected universe.

Dcu needs to do what the mcu did. I'm sorry to say but dc releasing outside dcu movies like The Batman and the Batman part 2 is going to kill dc. I'm calling it now, this is going to be a flop and they will have to do another reboot. Also, the only person who should be playing booster gold is the actor who plays home lander, I said what I said
