I think the soft reboot was based on how well movies like the flash do. And as that movie flopped so hard and everyone hates miller, I think it’s most likely going to be a full reboot

The difference between DC & Marvel is that Marvel is owned by a company that’s mainly targeting kids whereas DC is owned by a company that targets all ages so DC has potential to be great as long as they do a full reboot

If they bring back the Justice Society, they need to set up some lore. Cuz in Black Adam, while it was cool to see them, it didn’t make sense in the wider context of the DCEU

On your second point about connectivity, it’s also very important that they don’t rush the overarching story. One massive mistake the DCEU made was that they rushed through major plot lines to catch up to the MCU. They really thought they could pull off the iconic “Death of Superman” story in the SECOND movie ????

When the first Avengers movie came out in 2012 there was already a fair amount of build up and multiple films so the pay off felt worth it.

For the new DCEU to work they should base it off the DCEU War-Verse and do some small projects in between the movies. THAT is what would make the new DCEU so much BETTER

Like casting Jason momoa as lobo so he could give gal gadot Ezra Miller Zachary Levi possibly the suicide squad cast new character roles in the dcu maybe some other old actors in the dceu

The last thing that is missing is a timeline. They need to make a new timeline, whether with or without the old projects. Say if peacemaker and the suicide squad were kept, then they need to establish if they come before or after the first few movies.

The only problem currently is the final episode of Peacemaker giving cameos of the fastest criminal alive and Jason Momoa's aquaman.

Same brand name will confuse the new audience
And their movies should be on continuous timeline
