I have never seen meatloaf made with these ingredients. Cream, mustard, and maple syrup in a meatloaf? Yuk! I'm going to send you my recipe for Southern meatloaf. It is so easy; this one is very complicated. I hope you let us know how you like it. Love you guys! ❤

Meat loaf recipes are like fried chicken recipes, everyone has their own version. I personally add two eggs to make the finished meat loaf more moist.

Never hand meatloaf with cream, veggies or bacon. Your recipe is not a typical meatloaf recipe. Maple syrup in the sauce doesn’t sound good to me.

I’ve never seen meatloaf made this way, interesting!
I use ground beef, diced onion, diced bell peppers, 2 eggs, ritz crackers crushed, Lea and parrin’s Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, black pepper and ketchup inside and on-top

I'm from the South and have never heard of this kind of meatloaf. Mine has ground beef, diced onion, mustard, ketchup, egg, veggie beef soup, saltines and seasoning. I cook until almost finished, drain grease then top with ketchup and baked until ketchup is kind of dry and gooey. My husband's grandmother used oats rather than saltines

Joel, fyi: never over mix ground beef. Whether it's for meatballs, hamburgers, meatloaf, etc, you should mix it as little as possible as you add the other ingredients. It will ensure a more tender texture. I'm afraid your meatloaf will be very tough and dense. And I have to say, this meatloaf recipe has more ingredients than I think most Americans would use. Very funny video. Cooking segments with you two will be hilarious. Definitely want to see more.

This video was hilarious! We eat a lot of meatloaf in our house here in Ohio and I have to say that was one of the weirdest recipes I’ve ever seen for a meatloaf! I’m looking forward to seeing how these cooking endeavors turn out!😂

What's the best part of meatloaf is, after refrigerating what's left, to eat a cold meatloaf sandwich the next day. Just some ketchup and two slices of bread. It really brings out the flavors of the spices and all protein together.

It was interesting because I am an American and have never had meatloaf with cream or syrup. I have had it with bacon in the exact fashion. I do use an egg and bread crumbs. And yes, America does have real maple syrup. Love how cute you guys are and more power to you because you are willing to try new stuff.

Fun video! I DO really wish you had shown the tasting of the creation, but thanks for a fun time in the kitchen. I've been cooking for over 40 years and this is one weird meatloaf recipe, certainly not typical American! Perhaps future cooking videos will have a taste test at the end? (hint hint). I love that two non-cooks are giving it a go and having a fun time doing it! Sometimes the mistakes are the best parts !

Not all meatloaf merges different meats. You can use just ground (minced) beef. Both sides of my family always did it that way.
