Just bought of these this afternoon at a local mom & pop fireworks shop. Brand new version 1 for $175. As I understand it, a newer version is out with much greater range (uses WiFi in v2 vs Bluetooth in v1) and supposedly hotter cues to try and reduce ignition failures that some have reported. Will be testing this later...hope it works!

I’ve heard that the coils are not very reliable and have a tendency to deteriorate after just a few fires....

I wonder if the hot fuse will damage the igniters like melt the plastic casing, that seems very worrisome to me.

Seems like it's ok for a small backyard show. Wouldn't work for me . My whole show is 300+ feet out on a barge on the lake .

Personally, I think it's neat, but kind of a gimmick. I guess I'd think more of the system if it was a bit cheaper and had speaker terminals so talons or real e-match could be used like other systems. It's also a bit sad that you can only be around 50ft away and it needs 8 D cell batteries. Other firing systems run off more flexible and cheaper AA batteries and let you be further away so you can sit with your audience and enjoy the show along with them.
