About Explainers: From ancient Jewish traditions to the modern State of Israel, we explain it all. Diving into anything and everything related to Jewish culture, history, and even religion.
Understand Jewish holidays, Israeli politics, Jewish diasporic communities, and more. Learn about Judaism in pop culture, debunking myths about Jews, and explore obscure Israeli landmarks. We’re asking questions as basic as “What is the Talmud?”, and as obscure as “How did hip-hop boost Kosher wine sales?”, and everything in between.

About Unpacked: We provide nuanced insights by unpacking all things Jewish. People are complex and complicated — yet we’re constantly being pushed to oversimplify our world. At Unpacked we know that being complex makes us more interesting. Because of this, we break the world down with nuance and insight to drive your curiosity and challenge your thinking.

Wouldn’t Bella Abzug be ashamed of what the “social justice” movement has become in the West - antisemitic.

Thank you for sharing. All too often Jews are portrayed historically with passivity. These stories need to be shared.

Thank you for your very interesting video. Of all the incredible women you spoke about, for me Queen Esther is the most remarkable. As a Christian I have studied her story & when you take into consideration the social norms of the time there is no doubt that God had her in His palm & had plans for her, otherwise the King would have had her executed just for asking for an audience. She holds a very special place in my heart. God bless Israel 🙏✡✝

For the same reason Meier resigned, it’s pretty much expected in Israel today that when the Hamas war is over, Netanyahu will either step down or be nudged!

I think you should have included Gracia Mendes Nasi that helped during the period of the Spanish and Portuguese Inquisition...

Méltatlanul keveset tudunk Magyarországon Szenes Hanna nagyságáról és hősiességéről, és amit a zsidóságért tett.
❤Szenes Hanna❤

In France we have Simone Veil, who is in my eyes the most important French Jewish woman of the 20th century, she is a survivor of Auschwitz who passed the law decriminalizing the use of abortion in France in the 70s.

Golda was not Head of State, i.e. President. She was Head of Government, i.e. Prime Minister.
