Kaulin - being nervous means you care about doing it right. Every professional gets nervous weather your a race car driver, carpenter, plumber and so on. Even good ole dad Matt gets nervous, he may not show it but he does. Remember the only difference between a professional and an amateur is a professional knows how to correct their mistakes. Your doing awesome and you will always be awesome. Believe me, your dad has so much pride in you, it's immeasurable.

Kaulin....that feeling should never go away. It means you understand what's at stake and you're paying attention. Over time, it does lessen some but it should always be there. The moment it's gone, complacency sets in and accidents happen. Keep it up sir, you all have an amazing future ahead of you.

That tight feeling in your chest when you're working with your dad will never go away. Even after I was married and had kids of my own, if I was helping my dad with something, the feeling was there! I think it is something about not making a mistake in front of dad. My boys are the same way.

I have the same anxiety when im towing stuff, but im super protective about being safe and making sure the towed vehicle is safe for everyone around me.
