The fact England has Tomori Colwill Stones and Ben White as centre back options, yet they go with Eric Dier as 3rd choice cb and start maguire, is quite outrageous
Even in midfield, they literally have Bellingham Rice Maddison Foden and Gallagher, there's absolutely no reason why Henderson and Kalvin Phillips should even be in the team let alone get game time, and as a result, to accommodate Henderson, Foden and Rashford who are proper left wingers are left out of the team and Bellingham is shifted from his natural position.

We should have won that final against Italy. All it would have taken is one or two tactical subs. Everyone saying he has achieved more than most England managers but nearly every major international team has been in a process of change in players since 2016. In reality a better manager with the players he has had would have won something.
