The great Dunning / Kruger effect. An observation of a tendency that people only think they understand. The first person who invented the first shoe knew nothing about shoes until motivated to use trial and error to solve the problems of being barefoot. We aren't born with generational knowledge, we build on existing knowledge, or develop our own. Without a drive to solve problems, we don't try. I present the overlooked facet of Dunning / Kruger.
