I love the more monster like feel and aggression of hugo weaving and frankwelker is definitely more iconic since he was the first megatron, over all i like them both but i definitely gotta lean towards hugo weaving more since his voice fits this version of megatron of the bay verse

Hugo Weaving’s performance portrays Megatron as this brutal, barbaric, and yet terrifying warrior. Frank Wellker’s performance is more gentle in tone and more intimidating, but also manipulative, like some evil warlord. Frank Welker is easily the classic, but Hugo Weaving can be a worthy replacement.

My only disappointment is that Hugo Weaving didn't enjoy voicing Megatron, phoned in his lines and only did a good job inadvertedly. Whereas Frank Welker thoroughly enjoys playing Galvatron/Megatron, and you can tell because he does different variations, growls and low tones, where Hugo just YELLED A LOT

Frank Welker will always be the best person for this role. He's voiced Megatron for decades now. His best Megatron was the one from Prime

Honestly this is like a rare instance where both voice actors work so well for the character that they're both at the same level; I might even say interchangeable. They both fit Megatron perfectly in the live action movies.

Frank's MGT voice sounds really menacing and evil. Hugo's MGT voice on the other hand sounds monstrous and aggressive. Can't really decide which Megatron voice is better among them because both are really awesome.

In my headcanon (where we ignore the recast), Megatron's voice began to change as the revivals he received shaved some years of his life and made him older a lot sooner than expected. It was not as noticeable of a change in the original trilogy because he was frozen for so long and would be revived in ROTF while he would stick around longer until his death in DOTM where his revival in AOE means he gets another few years of his life removed thanks to his revival accelerating his Cybertronian age.

Frank Weller sounds like a cunning manipulator, but his voice is amazing too. But Hugo Weaving's voice is just pure terrifying. His voice sounds like a brutal, merciless and feared dictator. Ik Frank Weller is iconic but I'm little bit biased since a grew up with the movies but Hugo Weaving is just a lot scarier.
