'Deglobalization in China's manufacturing' limits spillovers to the US, expert says

During the launch of the @AtlanticCouncilUS's flagship China Pathfinder 2023 update, Council on Foreign Relations' senior fellow, Brad Setser, shed light on the shift in China's manufacturing landscape and delved into the implications of Beijing's economic slowdown.

"There has been deglobalization in China's manufacturing side, on the import side. Now, that has the advantage of limiting direct spillovers to the US, to Europe, from a direct slowdown in China's economy," he said.
