Great to see my Packers represented so much. Also, Mason Crosby very nearly got himself the longest field goal record. That guy is such a staple on the team it's gonna be weird when he retires in 30ish years.

The fair catch kick is one of my favorite rules in all of football and I genuinely hope we see more of them. They are extremely risky, but if you’re down by 1 with a few seconds left, why not try it and see? It’s probably got better odds than a Hail Mary, and is likely the best chance kickers have of breaking the field goal record

This is one of the reasons why I got so hooked on NFL football: it's not only roughing, pulling and tackling; there's _also_ quite a bit of strategy involved to end on top.
