All the reviews and overviews i watched about this product seemed to skip the fact that you can do this and it kept bugging me if you could do it or not so thanks for clearing it up

Been looking for the answer to this for a while, thanks for the very informative video, as I need a wired connection to an IP phone in a room upstairs, I am thinking of getting one Google Nest router and a Google Wifi node, so that I have the newest router, but the still have the old ethernet capabilities.

Hi Tom
So here is my problem, I have tried to put a Google WiFi point in my garage but I have a firewall that prevents any signal out there. What I tried to do is to bring over one of my wifi points and connect it by Ethernet to the one in the garage. This resulted in a massive drop in signal on bothWifi points. Am I doing something wrong? Can you help?

I have a room that's too far form the the modem/wifi router. Can you plug an ethernet cable into the modem then run that down to the google wifi to use it as a wifi router? Or does it only have ethernet as output, basically.

If all modems on the mesh are connected as hardwired with google having a backhaul channel does this make a difference in speeds? I am having some issues with the google Wifi system and thinking about switching.

So does this mean that the one box I have wireless in my tv-room, I can connect a cable from that one, into my Xbox, and it will function as a cabled connection on my Xbox?

Can I use Google wifi to essentially replace my links wired routers? If I plug 2 wifi points into my switch coming off my modem, will they both act as the wired location and have good connection speeds? Does that make sense?

Show a speed test. Does this give full ethernet speed since the access point is connected wirelessly?

I have a google wifi extender in the bedroom, and I plugged my PC ethernet into it on both connections, and neither is getting an internet connection. All the cables are good and I still have wifi. Any advice?

Do I need a switch? Or can I just plug a device straight into the satellite wifi hub with an Ethernet cord?

The secondary node has 2 Ethernet ports. Can I use both ports to wire devices at the same time or it’s only strictly one port for Lan?

I’ve noticed that my mesh network absolutely sucks. It’s gotten to bad I am getting 20mbps when I’m dead center of my house. They never used to be so bad
