The creative bits are awesome little departures from the overall groove of the 6/8 half time shuffle. I agree the pocket is deeep. Being locked into this groove seems to allow him the space and opportunity to mess with it. And mess with he does.t's pretty great. I'm inspired.
Even if I weren't a drummer I think I'd still love this.
