Mayer took Flickr and destroyed it. I'm a photographer and Flickr was a great community. Four years ago Yahoo made major changes to Flickr which completely ignored what the community wants. The attitude towards users was arrogant and dismissive.
Mayer had the gaul to statw that 'there is no such thing as a professional photographer'.
All Yahoo had to do was listen to what everyone wanted and provide it. It really was that simple, but they always thought that they knew better.
They got what they deserve and I'm delighted to see the demise of Mayer!
