Kazuya is a Tekken character, which has two major factors: He has massive combos, and can be massively combo'd.

He is truly holding all the cards now and is taking everything back

He literally described tekken😭which is why it makes sense he is the way he is. The real issue is that the rest of the cast need better move sets to represent the games that they come from

"Easy comeback"

The combos required from a Kazuya player requires not only precise inputs that can be confusing to enter, but they require excellent fundamentals, like spacing and understanding the ins and outs dowm to the very frame of the entire cast (particularly the ranged characters).

Finally, you have to be able to pull from all of this knowledge, call out a mistake, and ounish with a precise combo or EWGF all while under pressure, and without whiffing, or misinputing.

I'm sorry, but no-one picks up Kazuya and goes from being bad to great.

The community just feels like it needs a punching bag, and right now Steve and Kaz are the targets.

You fear Steve because a good Steve is an uphill battle during the neutral that becomes more oppressive as you lose the neutral and he gets a lead. He snowballs hard.

Kazuya you respect because if you can get that thread through the needle, no matter if you're winning or losing he will fuck you up.

Rage drive is stupid and unecessary. Literally carries people who don't know too much about him and becomes such an overpowered move to those who do. And he doesn't need it at all in his kit

Kazuya 0-death combos are only really guaranteed at higher levels of play as it’s pretty easy to mix DI on electrics, while he is very strong he has well defined weaknesses and gets beat out pretty easily with most disjoints
