BTW, the third video of "Griselda" was composed by Antonio Vivaldi. I made a mistake in the edit 😅

Not sure if anyone's mentioned, but your color scheme of your books with matching t-shirts through the periods is visually amazing!!

You should do a video about the new movie Tar. It would be great to hear a professional breakdown and it would probably get a ton of views.

A small error ... at 4:35 The composer of Griselda (sung here by Cecilia Bartoli) is Antonio VIVALDI (1678-1741) and not Henry Purcell (1659-1695) ... But I forgive you as you are so nice ;-) !

Baroque period means it is Baroque music (not classical music). Classical music is identified with music coming from the Classical Period. Not to be confused with "classic music." No disrespect intended, just a small pet peeve of mine lol.

Couldn't miss an opportunity to pretend colonialism is the cause of modern suffering? Yet, completely glossed over the fact that French Nobility's horrid treatment of its people single handedly returned the world from empirial rule to republic rule. I came here for music history, not propoganda.

I hate music class and was also forced to watch this

I could have done without the unnecessary dig at colonialism in a video about Music History, especially since it's not true: the benefits of European colonization and civilization-planting outside of Europe has resulted in significantly more positives than negatives. But again, this is completely beside the point in a video about Music History.

'European colonisation propogated untold human suffering.' Agreed. But you forgot to mention the devastating impact of the scientific revolution and the crippling effect of philosophy. Don't forget to mention the English settlers in 1607. Terrible people. Can you believe it led to the development of the most powerful country in the world. Disgraceful.
