Thanks so much Scotty. At this time, the 2024 version is $105 on Launch's eBay store. I was just about to buy a different scan tool costing hundreds of dollars more. As a DIY person, it was paining me to put out that amount of money, so I sat on it for a few days with the item in my cart. Then your video popped up on my youtube recommendations. This is exactly what I am looking for. Features galore, even ones only available on expensive scan tools, with low cost. As a DIY person who will not use this tool much, I wouldn't mind the slowness. This tool will allow me to learn more about my car.

I use a Creader eight, works on darn near anything and only set me back a couple hundred bucks new. Free updates. I bought it years ago, updated it free a few weeks ago.
great for resetting things like airbags, abs, transmission as well as the usual things.

Xtool A30M is the best bang for buck. Does all cars and all systems scan. Bidirectional testing as well. I would just put in the extra money and get it $200 or $180 on sale. I've got mine now for just over a year and i love the thing.

Oooo - I really like the AMP-Hound 2; I like how they keep the setup and display simple (IE, they don't make it any flashier than it has to be). Think I might get one of those to help my father chase his seemingly never ending parasitical drains on his boat. Thanks Scotty!

I bought one of these last few years companies have been coming out with these.. They are pretty good only caution I would give is some companies wanna nickle and dime you for functions and addition cost.. So make sure read review before buy..
