I am a Jew, and I will not remain silent on the horrific events happening in Israel. Pray for us, pray for Israel, and pray that justice will be served.

oh my, I was half-listening, I'm always doing more than one thing. You started singing, and I stopped breathing. I have never in my life heard the song, not in this life, but my soul knows your song. I felt chills until you finished. How do I know this song, but I do not know. My closest ancestors from the homeland Ukraine and Czechoslovakia and spoke Yiddish, it's all I know. I am Christian, always Presbyterian -- converted to Catholicism a year before Covid. I do not believe in the current pope... this just stopped me in my tracks. Clearly Hebrew speaks to my soul. This is the first time I understood the support from around the world on 9/11. I know exactly how they felt now. I never truly grasped it until now.

I live next to a synagogue, and I felt a strong urge to cross the street and pray with them, but I felt that is kind of selfish, I might take a spot from an actual Jewish person that needed to be there, so I prayed at home.
I will continue to pray for Israel.
