Are institutes a threat to the AMC squeeze?

Do institutions really hold over 50% of the float? and will they sell early crushing the squeeze? Are hedge funds lending out our shares and making billions of dollars in profit, even though their AMC shares are falling in value?

Current reporting shows that institutes hold 36% of the float. When you include the shares that have been shorted/rehypothecated then institutes hold 30% of the float.

Please also bear in mind that this is the LEGIT float, there are billions of synthetics held by the retail investors, therefore, while institutes hold 36% of the float, we hold the other 464% of the float, or however many times over the float is sold.

Therefore, the institutions are only holding 180m shares out of a total 2.5 billion shares, that is a small portion and also a small portion of the total 2bn shorted shares that need to be covered.

I'd say retail still own 80-90% of the original float as OGs haven't sold (that we know of)

Institutions may have 54% but most if not all are synthetics, so there sell point won't effect us as much as the FUD suggests

They still have to buy back our shares and all matters must settle before we move forward in the new "transparent" market

Blue ice also countered Lou’s reason for why this can’t go high. If we don’t own 80 to 90% means that people sold and we do not have as many holders as we thought. Wasn’t Lou’s reason for not believe the squeeze can go high was because there are to many of us in the play.

I started buying on May 13, 2020.
Talk about being early to the party!
I even have buys in the 3, 4 and 5$ range.
I bought 27 times for a total of 2000 shares with an average cost of 11 something.
Since the June movement, I bought 45 more times and now I have 6000 shares.
I don’t think I’m the only one that has and is accumulating.

I’m sure some got overly excited after watching GameStop and went beyond their means and had to cut lose.

It would be interesting if you could ask you followers if they will share honestly which way their share count has gone.

I have a question for you, if you can cover this :

Let’s consider Institutions own 54%, however, questions is: Do they really have those shares.. Didn’t they loan all those to hedge funds shorting AMC which are again sold to retail…
Now, for institutions like BLACKROCK and VANGAURD first need to have those stocks on hand before they sell ..

So technically all AMC (legit and synthetics) are held by retail and hedge funds first need to buy those to return them back to institutions and then start covering their short positions ..

I believe < that the inflation is already priced in crypto market since the end of last year. These manipulative rats are always 2 steps ahead of everybody because they are market makers.
