The processing time for the field office in Philadelphia says "10-23 months". When does this time start? When the previous I140 has been approved ? Or as soon as the case is in Philadelphia ? The I485 was filed in October 2020 in the Texas Service Center, since Fabruar 2021 the status is "Case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction" and on 1 September 2021 the I140 was approved. You can certainly understand if we hope that these "10-23 months" have already been running for a long time.

Well "simple citizen" this process is more complicated and long winded than you explain. For everyone watching the USCIS may take one month to eight months just for a Employment Authorization Document(EAD). I wouldn't hold my breath the fact is you might get a interview for your green card before you even get the EAD. The USCIS seem to process all cases unequally. Good luck to everyone and hold on to your savings that's the best tip anyone will give you.

That's a long process, I sent my papers on May 7th 2018 and I already went to the biometrics appointment on June 6th, and went on the USCIS website to check on my case, and they're ready to schedule my interview . 😳🤔 same with my friend from the Netherlands, she already had her interview 2 days ago. Super fast! Why is that? She's just waiting for her work authorization and green card I guess she will receive them together ? Maybe ?

Did 140 processing time (receipt date 07/26/2021) is counted towards I485 processing time ? for example 13.5 months of I140 processing time + I485 8 months = 21.5months processing time for I485. I wonder whether this expedite I485 approval with 21.5 months processing time ?

My foreign wife is here in USA with me now with our 17 month old baby, I made our baby a citizen in her country with CRBA

she got a travel B visa for 6 months, she supposed to leave December 2019

But we have a I 130 in process that was approved in March

I work online and don’t make enough income

Can I file for a I485 and I912 fee waiver and look for a family sponsor ?

my PD is current in final bulletin chart since sep 2021 and I am no longer with same employer where I got I-140. Current employer is processing PERM now and will take atleast 1 year to get to I-140 + I-485 concurrent process. Question is will I lose my priority date because of missing I-485 within like 1 year. Please help me clarify.
