This song is about that niggling question that everyone comes across more than once in your life, “What If”.
For instants “What if revenge wasn’t real? What would be hidden behind every Smile”?
This is a fun play on events that could easily escalate if Revenge wasn’t real. Everyone has been or felt revengeful in life no matter what they say so if this was removed from the world how would it be affected.
imagine a world without revenge, what would be the difference. How would people be able to live and go on their day-to-day life. Everyone has revenge for someone or something. Imagine if this feeling didn’t exist. That’s the Question.
 
Scott has become very attached to this track as this was an experiment, when recording this track Scott didn’t know how he wanted it to sound, he recorded the demo and that literally how the track ended up, which is a different sound do what he was used to.
 
This song was recorded at Scott’s home and produced by him as well, Scott loves the creative side to his music and thrives in getting stuck into his work.
 
Scott Berry isn’t afraid to admit he is an openly gay singer songwriter. Scott has been writing songs since he was a teenager so has a very extensive back catalogue to work from with all the hurdles in his life that he has gone through.
 
Scott makes his music as a way of getting things of his chest, also to let others know they are not the only ones going through similar situations.
 
The Covid-19 Pandemic really changed things for Scott as he realised that life is too short to keep shying away from the negativity, fear of rejection and being judged with his music and decided to start making and releasing it to the world.
 
Scott’s music has received brilliant response from listeners, and this has only contributed to him wanting to create more and share with the world, to help others through tough times and make them feel good and realise that life is worth living to the fullest and not to let anything or anyone stop you doing what you love to do.
