ring is a 694k andromeda ring with 25% damage
and I have a purple sigil with 23% damage

2 hydras breath, 703k ring with 25% spell and a 31% sigil

Mage melee is a single hit but longer range, Warrior is multi hit but less range

Ngl the warrior spell is better than the mage one imo in certain aspects so I think war is better, speaking as a war who changed to mage

Can't you reforge the Elementalist 2 into Elementalist 3? It's in the upgrade area and then you just press the arrow.
