The fact that Bandung is home to more than 50 higher education institutions, universities, and research centres has made the city a destination for students and young researchers to pursue their study and careers. Strategic national industries are established in Bandung because of the city’s reputation as a conducive place for research and development. 2010 data shows that 68% of Bandung population is below 40 years of age, making the city full of youthful energy and dynamics. All of these conditions – the ongoing supply of highly educated young population, fashionable products and tourism industries – have created new types of cultural industries in Bandung.

Sundanese people are humorous and friendly people, so that is what characterizes the Sundanese themselves, I as a Sundanese person are very proud that the land of Pasundan is known so well by tourists.

I have one friend from Bandung, and he's actually one of the nicest people I've ever met. Of course not everyone are like that, but traditions and cultures affect the people. And so there are some culture and traditions that produces friendly and nice people more than the others, but we should also always remind ourselves that friendly doesn't mean nice and goodwill.

The funny thing is that I'm an Indonesian since I was little, I've only been to Bandung once and even then haven't been around Bandung like the two of you 😂. How lucky you guys are! Hopefully one day I can visit Bandung again if the pandemic is gone. By the way I can't wait for the next video about Jakarta!

Bandung also has one of the best polytechnic institution in the country, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)
