Free Warzone Loadout Drops! (How do They Work?)

Today I wanted to share exactly how the free loadout drops work within Warzone, including their timing and positioning, so you can make better decisions while playing Battle Royale.

For those wondering, if multiple drops are together in a cluster next to your team's drop, those are enemy drops.

The first loadout drop occurs with exactly 10:00 left on the Gulag timer. Second drop a few seconds after the Gulag timer hits 0:00. Open the map to see the Gulag timer.

I didn't realize they were personal ones. I always thought it seemed remarkably easy to get them without being killed.

The loadout drops tell you how many teams are near you. Sometimes 3 other boxes are next to your drop, sometimes there’s only one and since everyone gets their own and they spawn kind of near people, that means they are an indicator of who’s near you

One thing I also noticed from the loadouts is that they love to spawn out in the open where I can get sniped :)

Hi Ace, I’ve noticed that other teams have definitely picked up loadouts from boxes that are marked on my HUD (maybe because their box dropped directly beside mine?) and also I think what people are saying about the loadout dropping the same distance from you as another team may be true, thought it doesn’t necessarily mean the other team is on the opposite side of the box from you. They could just be somewhere equally far away (aka somewhere on the circumference of the circle with centerpoint on the loadout and radius 130-200m). I knew all of this before hand, the good thing about being aware when they drop. Especially the 1st time, you can look for them in the sky, if only one packet drops, you can assume that you are reasonable safe from other players. Just knowing that it is just your loadout and no one else's gives you a pretty good indicator that you are alone in that area

I also noticed that the load out drop is based on the location of the squad leader.

Loadout drops also fall to the same place every time as I’ve noticed. There are many drop zones around the map and of course I only know about a few but those always have a fixed place whenever they drop. (For example, there are a few “villages” North from Lumber and there’s also a yellow bridge between them. That’s where you wanna wait for that drop)
