what all the YouTubers don't tell you is its a rare chance, you aren't guaranteed a Ray Gun or Jet Gun

Don't ever buy the mangler Cannon nothing you get from that trunk will ever be worth 1250 salvage. Instead on round 11 you can have the natural mangler spawn open the car for you

If you’re struggling on liberty falls I recommend using that 1250 salvage to upgrade your gun to epic or legendary

You can still get the rewards from the cars even if they have been blown up, they don't have to remain untouched they just have to be shot by a mangler regardless of condition

tip: if you don't want to craft a mangler canon you can try to make a mangler shoot it or target his arm that has the canon with a chance to drop when exploded

Bonus tip... after a few round hell move to one of the other 2. Then after a few more rounds he'll move to the last so you actually get 3 attempts. Keep your eyes open for mr peeks until youve opened all 3

The chances of getting a good drop from the car are pretty rare in my experience. It's not worth crafting a mangler cannon and using salvage. Just wait until you can pick one up off of a spawned mangler.

I found that if you have spare time in mutant injection, you can use the cannon as the mangler to open the trunks.

I’ve shot it dozens upon dozens of times. I’ve gotten a ray gun twice. However, if you shoot the same car a number of rounds later with a mangler cannon it can spawn more rewards again.
