The Black Lives Matter Movement is no stranger to opposition, however the organization is facing challenges from within.

Tensions are rising between local chapters and national leaders over the group's goals, direction and money.

Rev. Sherri Dickerson, Co-Founder of Black Lives Matter Oklahoma and Chanelle Heim, an organizer for Black Lives Matter Louisville Kentucky recently spoke with Roland Martin about the tensions and controversy surrounding the movement for Black lives.

This is the black community in a nut shell. We believe a lot of the same things but we all want to do things differently.

Well who are the people they're asking transparency from? Who are the people at the "top" or wherever that have been ignoring them? What are they're names? What are they're positions or titles? Where are they located? Who specifically are these two BLM (or whatever) women referring to when they say they can't get any answers? Who pays their salaries, if they get paid at all? Who keeps the books for all that money that came in over the summer? How and why did "BLM" become unobtainable as a trademark? The whole discussion is not only confusing, it's absurd nonsense...empty of information. This is utterly ridiculous! And whether he meant to or not, Roland did a good job of showing just how ridiculous this BLM scam is.

The organization been a problem since it's been co oputed

Don’t be confused Roland... Black suffering has again been co-opted by whites and led in a direction that’s not productive for grassroots black communities. Not difficult to understand.

National BLM has always been a front for LGBTQ and the Democratic party. Be careful with it if your not about those topics.

Too many Chiefs, not enough Indians. Also, what part of being a Revolutionary is "easy" exactly?

This is not only confusing it's also embarrassing because people are making contributions to what they think is a good cause. One example is the Korean kpop group BTS gave 1 million dollars and within hours their fans matched that amount to the BLM organization. So where is people's money contributions going?

The imposters have put on your faces so they can go unnoticed when are y'all going to learn that history repeats itself

I think they're decentralized to avoid accountability and scrutiny. That "leaderless" movement argument.

Divide and conquer. Following the money is diluting the movement.

The main BLM organization that is online and was started and founded by those 2 Black woman, took in somewhere in the neighborhood of i think 9 billion dollars. And NOBODY KNOWS EXACTLY where that money is being spent. And if they are making that kind of money those 2 separate Black woman on your show, should do like what any other business do. There's video, paper work, documentation that they should be able to submit, to proved that they are doing the work. And hopefully like any real business they will get a check from BLM. BUT WHO'S IN CHARGE OF BLM????

Sounds like they need a big meeting and every chapter worth a dang, send a rep. However how is communication going to work if it seems like anyone can make a chapter?

Do y’all get it now? Nobody is saving you

When you see the leaders on sitcoms and getting TV deals but yet the grassroots people on the ground are complaining about resources and transparency; there's a problem. Millions of dollars have been donated and folks are asking where's the accountability...a side-eye is warranted.

So, can y'all finally admit that Yvette Carnell and Antonio Moore were right?

And why were these people trying to set Ice Cube up with these people when they can't keep their own organizations together?

Thanks for sharing this video. I was a little confused myself as to how the organization is structured so that I can support. With so many people that support this movement, there are also people that do not support the movement and in fact have spoke against the movement. I hope things will come together soon, so that we can stand strong and prove the critics wrong.

you just cant be following people just because they have the word black in they name

A lot of leaders in the movement seem more interested in building their own platform and notoriety and fame vs doing the work.
