I started following Caucasian hair routines & there’s a black YouTuber who also follows Caucasian hair routines! I love this and I was shocked that it actually works because I was under the impression that their hair routine wouldn’t work for me. I felt guilty watching white, asian, & Indian women hair routine, but not anymore because my hair is growing. 😊

I used to wash and plait my hair every two weeks but I fell ill, couldn’t do my hair for two months, and my hair grew like crazy within that period. So I accidentally found out that low manipulation of hair leads to growth.

My yt friends in high school and college used 3 products, shampoo, conditioner and hair spray. Thats why it was easy for them to get head lice. The oils and butter is def something they learnt via social media.

I am not getting this constant reference of ww. Black and South Asian people have been oiling their scalp like forever. Anyway. I am not a fan of scalp oiling but I have low porisity hair and my scalp doesn’t like products like that either. Exercising is a good way to have blood flowing too.

Moroccan products are the best. I especially use their masks. Unlay oil is good. Thank you for putting me on to that oil it's really good. I also use coconut oil as well. My hair is naturally long, wavy, and curly.

I feel like protective styles (sew-ins) have set my hair back. They grow my hair but it always feels much thinner after a protective style. Looking forward to thickening mine up like yours!

When I was halfway through the bottle of Unlay, I decided to add 10 drops of rosemary oil and poured a little Castor oil in the bottle and shook it up!

I believe it comes down to hair type not race. It’s a science this is why cosmetologist are great people to talk to. Not everything works for everyone. Grease has worked for my relaxed hair and oils works for my natural hair. I don’t follow what a particular race uses for their hair, skin or body. I use what has worked for me even experimenting with natural oils, raw shea etc. For instance everyone glories Coconut and its wonders on hair skin and food. The only thing coconut wise that works for me is coconut water when I drink it. It burns my scalp and itches my skin. I don’t like it in my food either. I was relaxed for a decade and DAX grease did wonders for my hair. No issues. My mama used her hands to wash and stimulate my head with my relaxer and it grew with no issues. When I transitioned I did a big chop and had 3 different cosmetologists tell me the same thing to grow long and healthy hair. The oil was a contributor, but for me it was the foods that I ate, shampoo, conditioner and water that helped with my healthy hair and yes it grew. For me it’s never about a race when it comes to things like this. It’s about science, knowing your body and what you put into it.

Another awesome video thank you for being on point. I’ve been using Unlay for almost a year and my hair has grown and thickened! I was using growth greases, and a lot of other known products and my hair never grew! Now I’m using the edge product as well i’m all natural and like the addition of the rosemary and Castor oil ..loving it!!❤

Love your tips. Steaming? I deep condition with cap under the dryer. If you have done this method before can you tell me what steam would do differently. I might just try it and see.
