How I Fill Ammo Cans During The Ammo Shortage

I was moving some ammo around in my ammo locker making some room for more as well as planning out my next ammo can fill and thought, I should do a video on how I fill ammo cans during the ammo shortage. So, here is that video.

Great advice!!! I store my ammunition in the military (U.S. Navy and U.S Air Force ) issued cans from the small arms ranges on base when I served in the U.S. Navy when the NCO's allowed us enlisted folks to take a can or two (or four or more) home. Each can is caliber specific and cartridges are stored in J&J ammunition cases .

FYI use a stick on small labels with the month and year of purchase. With this method older ammo boxes gets use first . Like the content thanks

for people with limited ammo cans would you reccomend using ziplock bags with the brand/weight written on the bag?

The Luxury of having so Much Ammo, My Countrymen, Typical 3 nickle American Showing Off. Most of us have 1 or 2 Metal boxes devoted to one or two calibers. Fire fighters find out you have so much ammo, they will not go inside. Create a shed some where in the corner away from the main property building.

I will mix brands of the same caliber as long as they're the same bullet weight and they are brands that I know are reliable. That is just me however.

I fit 1250rnds 5.56/.223 in a 50 cal can all on a stripper clip.

I don’t mix and match. I keep my fmj in an ammo can, but all my defense rounds in in my bug out bag.

I keep a little of everything in my cans and I keep quiet a few mags loaded up with self defense ammunition in all of my calibers but in my go bag I have a little bit of everything and then an extra box of self defense and green tips and some stingers or something like that
