TOP 10 BOX OFFICE PREDICTIONS 2022

Here are my predictions for which films will be the top 10 of biggest box office earners of 2022, including The Batman, Black Panther 2, and more!

The Batman is probably the most important DC Film for everyone, it's the first solo live action Batman movie in almost 10 years

This is one of those rare golden days where BHL uploads a video and a new Pod Episode comes out!!

Although i don't think it will affect it too much, i think Aquaman 2 will be impacted by Amber Heard still being in the film. General audiences probably won't care too much, but a lot of people online are already boycotting the film. And i don't see a world where Mario doesn't make the top 10. it's illumination who always make box office hits, but it's also mario (the biggest, most recognisable gaming franchise that's suitable for all ages and spans multiple generations). that combination makes it a certified hit, plus the internet breaking casting of chris pratt will bring in people watching it ironically

3. Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness - $900 million
2. The Batman - $900 million
1. Avatar 2 - $1.5 billion (I have faith that James Cameron will deliver a big, must-see theatrical experience and I think this will sneak up on everyone out of nowhere and make way more money than anyone was expecting, much like the first film did)

Based on what's going on with all the production delays, I think Black Panther 2 will be delayed to 2023 which is why it's not on this list.

My predictions for the rest of the year:
Black Panther 2: It’s gonna make around 200-500 million at start but the rest depends on the films quality.
Puss in boots 2: much like Minions 2 it will have a nostalgic trend with the old Shrek fans coming back to cinema and parents could take their kids to see a movie if Disney isn’t trusted.
Avatar 2: There’s a lot of factors that prevent it from getting up to its predecessors amount of money but Avatar 2 would probably end up around Thor 4 numbers due to the whole cultural impact problem and Cameron’s latest comments turning people away. There could be the possibility that it ends up pandering to the whole agenda Disney’s been doing.

But yeah that’s it.

Edit: Avatar could have problems with Super hero fans getting salty about Endgame losing in 2020 and actively encourage not to watch it or watch Puss in boots 2 instead.

So I got Avatar very wrong(suspiciously made 2 bil too quickly but oh well) and same with Puss but I did get Puss having more fame correct.

(i am being realistic and listing everything with a bit lower box office in the pandemic situation is still not great that's why Batman made only 20 million in china and spiderman NWH is the one and only movie that blew up and made a huge box office if the hype is there then doctor strange MOM, Avatar 2 and Aquaman will do way better with a 1B+ box office collection and if it wasn't for the pandemic then minions 2 and lightyear would have been higher on my list)

The only reason that I would be interested in seeing the Morbius movie is that it holds a lot of intrigue around the state of the Spider-Verse. The trailer features connections to the worlds of all three Spider-Men. Other than that, like most of the general audience, I know next to nothing about Morbius. However, there always is the possibility for it to be surprisingly good.

I think Minions will take a dive at the Box Office since most people don't care about Minions, they'll still make a profit but they won't make any more than 650 million
