The character is actually called weasel in the comics. It was clearly a joke.

I cannot stress enough that that is the characters name in the comics

Tbh I’d be honored if I was Ryan’s way of getting into the character of Deadpool.

Imagine getting mad because the sexiest man alive is practicing as Deadpool, called you a weasel

He added: “We had a really weird moment on Deadpool where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel. So he was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.’”

Miller said he thought Reynolds was “kind of an insecure dude”, adding: “I would not have done Deadpool 3 if they came to me and were like, ‘We want you to do Deadpool 3, and we’re going to pay you twice as much. I think he should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies. I just think he doesn’t like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that.”

Brother is out here imagining revenge scenarios 💀 please tell us who the insecure dude is

edit: the comments have informed me that TJ is a menace to women and called a fake bomb threat on a random woman on the train for rejecting him 😔

I like how Ryan wasn’t in the wrong and still apologized

The real reason why he won’t be in Deadpool 3 is because he legit got drunk and called the cops and told them someone on the train had a bomb. Would not wanna work with that dude either

This feels like such a minor thing. Like, maybe I’m prejudiced because I like Ryan Reynolds, but it sounds like a single incident being blown out of proportion.

Also, it might be harsh but it’s also kinda true. Sorry, but TJ’s presence in DP 3 will not make or break the film

Didn't TJ Miller make a fake bomb threat and was named in the me too movement? I'm surprised he still gets work.

What he said it was that Ryan Reynolds talked to him on set AS he was Weasel, criticized his acting and told him he was useless for the movie. Also he wasn't recalled for the 3rd movie, that's when he say he didn't want to be invited... also he said HE decided not to go back to Silicon Valley, when in reality he was fired because he was accused of se*ual abuse...
TJ Miller specializes in "offensive improve" he can start mouthing anyone at any given point... And the dude can be pretty aggressive! In Silicon Valley he'd often improvised his lines tearing some other character apart, but still found Ryan Reynolds to be mean towards him

They should place a person that looks nothing like TJ in a wig like TJ and act like TJ in dead pool 3 😁

I don’t even remember seeing him in any of the movies 💀💀

Wait everyone is aware that that was his characters name right?! How can TJ Miller honestly get insulted by his characters name?!?

Honestly TJ Miller literally plays the exact same character in every one of his movies.
Casting manager: “We need a sorta stoner, dorky kinda guy who tells bad jokes and uses sarcasm in every one of his lines but not a in a funny kinda way”
TJ Miller: “My time to shine”

This seems like a fairly non issue. A minor disagree solved easily.

I'm glad they worked it out. I'm sorry he's not returning but the movie will carry on. I hope the 3rd one is better than the 2nd.

dude should literally be in jail for being drugged up and making false bomb threat accusations on another passenger on a train.

ugh
