I have been doing the somatic exercises and being mindful to release even the slightest stress. However, no improvement, I feel broken. Not to discourage anyone with my experience but I wish to God to heal. Won’t give up but I need help

Update: I had been away from home for more than 15 years and every time I would go back my body would shut down; I wouldn’t eat or drink, spend most of the time crying or sleeping and just counting the days to leave. I recently went back home and I was feeling horrified and depressed but when I went home there was a healing energy surrounding me. I can’t explain it. I did feel a bit anxious and wasn’t myself 100% but wow what a change and I was doing the somatic exercises not out of fear but as a way of life and I thought what better place to do these releases then the place I was pathologically afraid of. I am so grateful for this community and I am healing a part of me at my own pace.

Lol, I love these positions. The one hand under the chin is weird, but I've done it a lot, it actually feels really good. Amazing how the body instinctively knows how to release stress.

I dated a woman who, when asleep, one or both legs would shake and/or shiver. She had experienced multiple s*xual traumas growing up, and she stayed smoking marijuana, in part bc it helped her to not remember her ongoing nightmares. Are there any resources available that can tell me more about how to release the stress and trauma that continue to manifest in how we sleep?
