Im going through the RCIA and one of the questions is, why Catholicism (Paraphrased) and one of my reasons was listening to Michael Knowles years ago, talk about the Catholic faith and how that really resonated with me

I lost my belief being confronted by atheistic professors and I prayed and asked God to help me with my doubt. Within the next week I saw the Shroud of Turin on a magazine, then it popped up on a phone from a guy sitting next to me at the Dr. Office. I went down that rabbit hole and now I am convinced that the resurrection happened and my life has been changed and I felt his love or spirit flow over me. I also lost the fear of death that haunted me for years.

The only reason I am Catholic (a Traditional one) is b/c I went down the rabbit hole of objective reality via reason, logic, historical fact etc. It was the writings of the Early Church, the Apostolic and Early Church Fathers, that showed me Catholicism is the one true faith. May ALL people find that truth and may they be set free as they come home:+) God bless~

Bishop Barron said it best, “the Catholic faith is not a faith that says we’re right and you’re wrong, but that we have the fullness of truth instead of parts of truth”.

He also mentions, the Jewish faith only accepts people within their bloodline, Muslims often authoritatively converted, but the Catholic faith accepts all from all walks of life.

3 weeks ago I was watching a lot of the finance guests they’ve had in this podcast and one of them mentioned Dave Ramsey’s favorite quote from the Bible and I’ve been super stressed with finances and life. Started reading scripture and watching local church live streams and visiting them and have had the most peace I have ever felt and I found it in Jesus. I’ve been saved.

My life has changed forever.

The idea that one way is true while other ways are wrong, is the basic premise for our entire school system or any type of truth. It's the single worst argument against a belief. Many people can be wrong, while few people are right. That's usually how things work. And ultimately, the view that all religions are wrong, or all religions are true, simply becomes another truth-claim added to the bunch. Not somehow above the question of what is right or wrong. Great job by Michael.

The Catholic Church preserved, compiled, translated, chose the books to include and declared the Bible canon in 382 under Pope Damasus at the Council of Rome. Jesus didn’t leave us a Bible but He did leave us a church (Matthew 16:18). Every Catholic essentially reads the entire bible (OT & NT) every 5yrs at Sunday Mass.
