THIS is the difference between a genuinely safe car and a car designed to pass a test. No door deformation, no A-pillar deformation, aced rear passenger test. In a 2017-designed car. Deep deep shame on Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Jeep, etc.

Geely is exactly what Volvo needed - someone who can provide a blank cheque, so Volvo can continue to focus on its core values.

Volvo have some of the best whiplash mitigating technologies and design features in the industry. Innovation that both front and rear passengers benefit from

You and your family want to be together a long time, do what I’ve done, buy a XC60.

I'm not excited that Volvo is slowly moving to an all-electric fleet, but I am so glad that Geely has allowed Volvo to continue doing what it does best.

The rear passenger was well secured by the seat belt, which I reckon was what this updated test for. Kudos Volvo from a proud XC60 MY17 owner!💪

No surprise that Volvo did absolutely perfect in this test.

Pretty good for a 7 year old design considering it's a brand new test

Just so everyone knows, when they introduced the small overlap crash test, they crashed a 2013 XC90 that was designed even before that crash test was even a thought, and it passed. Goes to show, Volvo has BEEN designing these cars for safety and not just bc the test was “updated”

The differences here between this Volvo and the Genesis models is incredible. Everything stays contained and well-managed, even the seats don't pitch forward excessively as they do in other cars. The commitment to safety remains obvious, especially for the rear passengers who do not get considered in far too many crashes.

I like how when a Nissan scores good everyone is saying it’s not justified but when a Volvo scores it it’s “normal”
