Zane is one of the most legendary characters ever. He's on par with anime characters. That scene is on par with "sad anime moments." Its so depressing when you mix it all together. The music, the words spoken and the emotions you can feel from them, and then of course the fact you're *watching* what happened unfold and not just reading words on a page. Especially when Kai says "LET GO OF HIM ZANE! what is he DOING!?" You can practically FEEL the emotions in his voice. And then when Wu figures it out and can only say 3 words to explain. "He's protecting us." Its like you can tell he just can't even bring himself to say it in full that Zane is sacrificing himself for his friends without it being spoken. That scene left me in tears on a level with a certain character from Demon Slayer who always "Set his heart ablaze." and tbh it probably still would. He knew who he was and what his purpose was "to protect those who cannot protect themselves." And he did *Exactly* that.
