Optimate 4 reconditions / saves my moto battery, or so I thought, or it really did. Still not sure.

My moto battery died a few times. If I do not ride it daily, it dies again. I recharged a few times. Failed to keep the charge. Most net blokes say the battery is history, definitely unreliable, so go buy a new one.

Desperate to see if the yeah sayers were right, I left my battery connected to the Optimate 4 for a couple of weeks. The indicator lights told me sadly that my battery was toast....until...

One day, the green lights all started working as if the battery was saved.

However, it does not hold the charge very long, I think. The fake flashing red alarm light stops blinking after a day. That means the battery is weak, right?

I just left it a few days and the start up was a little weak. I suppose I could let it sit a week and see what happens. Dunno.

I will return with an update, but I am supposed to believe the Optimate lights. Maybe there is something else wrong with the moto? I would love to know how to disconnect that stupd flashing red light.

Anyway, I am still stoked about my optimate 4. Maybe I will give the battery a charge tomorrow.

Peace out y'all.

Did it really work on that battery or not? I had the same situation occur. It seemed to work at first, then I realized it no longer held the charge, so I had to buy a new battery. I agree that the Opti 4 is brilliant! I use it regularly now when the moto is sleeping.
