We have finally reached the bottom of the first layer of this monster of an iceberg created by Jimboseth. Even in this first layer we are encountering some obscure mysteries as well as more well known topics such as the Zodiac Killer. As much as I like these kinds of videos, it really bothers me how many YouTubers assume that Selene’s case is a publicity stunt/conspiracy theory. The case is pretty real. As someone who grew up watching Canal 5, that segment was serious and usually displayed missing people who came from families without many resources (which is why the photos often looked grainy or low quality, and not many details were included) to look for them. The photo isn’t even that uncanny (if you grew up watching that segment, you know what I’m talking about) compared to other people’s photos. The reason why it’s treated like an urban legend is because some randos turned this missing person case into one online. Canal 5 eventually became a questionable channel so it’s no surprise that they latched onto this “legend” for notoriety on twitter. The photo you showed that supposedly is a police sketch was included in a spooky video by a channel that’s dedicated to making horror content in Spanish.

So, it’s not a publicity stunt of any sort, it’s just a sad case of a missing girl who didn’t come home and whose family probably doesn’t have a lot of money.

Both pronunciations of Tinnitus are considered acceptable. It seems like I am hearing more people saying tin-nuh-tuss lately but I always heard tinn-itus growing up. I think there are some English dialects where tin-nuh-tuss is the common pronunciation but I hear both from people in my area now.

They figured out who the Somerton man is earlier this year. His name is/was Carl Webb and apparently he was an electrical engineer from Melbourne

I think it was Youtuber Barely Sociable who did a video on the glitter thing. The theory that sounds most plausible is that it is for paint for bass fishing boats and other water vessels. The glitter is considered a microplastic, so the constant exposure of this paint to the water could put an unwanted environmental spotlight on their client.

Regarding Selene Delgado, it's not odd that there are no other traces of her. Her family might have been rural or lacked the money to publicize her case. Maybe newspapers didn't deem it worthy enough to report on or those that did cover it are obscure/ lost to time. There are thousands of hidden cases like hers.

The mystery regarding Renne Hartevelt should be that the guy who killəd, rªped, and murderəd never got in trouble!! He confessed in France, was diagnosed unfit for trial. Was in a psyche ward there before extradition back to Japan.. in Japan they said he was sane and never spent a day in prison. He even wrote books about it. It's absolutely disgusting. Yes you can find images of her body online.

The person who played the groupie has gone on record starting that she was hired to act through it, every part of it is fake/consensual, and that she didn’t think that the guests were completely unaware since they met her before (she acted in another one of their MVs). Some people speculated that she was a minor, but she said she was 21 at the time.

On the topic of Selene Delgado. People going missing in México is sadly nothing out of the ordinary, and if I'm entirely honest, it would be entirely on brand for the channel to use the traction generated by the image to drive people to their broadcasts.

As sad as it may sound, she was most likely kidnaped never to be found. And the channel capitalized on this tragedy
