My son recorded me doing this. The homeowner did not have insurance. The local community helped tear down and clean up the homesite. The pickup received very minor damage from the fire. Fire trucks did not show up and have water running for another 5 plus minutes. Local volunteer firefighters did an excellent job of keeping it from spreading to neighboring houses.

Not only does this potentially save the truck from being destroyed, but this also clears the way for emergency vehicles and first responders so that they can do their job with a little easier. Those Toyotas are great trucks and worth saving. The first truck I started my company with was a 2002 Toyota Tundra. She has 350k+ miles without any major mechanical issues. 150 trucks later, we retired our 1st truck from service and she’s currently at the shop getting restored to 🍒 condition.
