I'm liking all these magic utility skills. Seems worth it to keep 1 or 2 magic flasks on you even if you aren't magic focused, which will be refilled when you kill mobs (and boss-like enemies too?)

I soooo can’t wait to buy Elden Ring. Maybe I’ll buy it on pre-order! Dark Souls-esque combat in an open-world setting is my dream come true, as I absolutely ADORE open-world games!

would be cool if reflecting a spell would also negate the fp cost to add more to the reward of actually parrying a spell rather than just a "no u" cuz honestly why not just dodge it or throw your own spells if that's all you get from doing it lol

Everyone in the comments copying each other as always saying it looks like magical ping pong or tennis, but only 1 or 2 other people mentioned how it looks more like Harry Potter instead which is more accurate lol. If fromsoftware were to work more on spell parries and counter spell attacks, that would be really awesome and very similar to Harry Potter. Even though there's an open world Harry Potter game coming out soon anyway
