Wondering how to study smarter not harder? As a former top student in high school, i want to share with you how i study smarter while being able to live a life outside of school. These study tips will help you especially if you have limited time in the day. Study smart not hard!

I always did the 2nd one and it’s works. Also if you can, record your teacher/lecturer voice during the class, so that you listen to it while reviewing your subjects. It’s helpful in some ways, though. Especially when the lecturer/teacher is rapping while explaining the materials.

2. Read it out loud while you're studying or revising !!! GOOD POINT.

I have 1 tip to study smart. Make a study group, if you're excel in Maths, teach your friends Maths. If your friends excel in History, let your friends teach you History. If you understand what they teach you, that means they are fully understand the subject's. I have study group when I'm was 16-17 back in 2010. (I'm a Malaysian Chinese). My study group have 5 including myself. I'm teaching History, IT (Computer Science) and Malay Language, A is teaching Maths and Add Maths, B is teaching Maths and Chemistry, C is teaching Add Maths and Physics, D is teaching Add Maths (but she's a bit lacking, she's an anime freak back then, watching anime till late night). For Moral Education and English, we're studying together. For Mandarin language, 4 of them are studying each other, meanwhile I'm taking time to finish homework. 'Cause I'm a national elementary student (SK), didn't take Mandarin Language exam.
2nd, set rules. Be disciplined and no chatting during study group. A is the leader of group and set rules, "Who is chatting during study group, she will giving everyone a treat at school canteen, we will order the most expensive one!" All obey the rules.
3rd, set a challenge. "The 2 person ranked lowest for average percentage of all subjects marks, will giving treat to 3 persons (Sort like Gold, Silver, Bronze) at mamak restaurant". 3 boys heard that and are interested in our challenge and wanted to join, so it's 8 person, 4 person ranked lowest, giving treat to 4 person ranked higher.
It's fun doing this kind of study group back in school. You can try it too!
And you will notice, your studies will improve! Hope this helps!

Best tip: use ur previous test/exam and if it was from a chapter then read the chapter and write those questions and then study.
