Cowboys = Gave the most lucrative contract in NFL history to a guy who has not won anything of note....yep so locked into another handful of years of this shit looks like.

The Cowboys are continually rewarded for beating the teams they are supposed to beat (Browns, Panthers, etc.), but not beating the teams they NEED to beat (Eagles, Ravens, Packers, etc.) They also have, arguably, the easiest schedules each year. Yet, everyone is surprised when they have 10-12 wins a season and choke in the playoffs.

Paying Dak is just the latest in a never ending series of bad decisions for the cowboys. If they had released him after the first contract they could have had a good rookie by now.

Micah Parsons is an absolute liability against the run! Talented pass rusher, but teams are targeting him in the run game. Most overrated player in the NFL!

They weren't real SB contenders when they had 13-3 talent level rosters at various points over the past decade. Romo never was going to lead them to a SB win and neither will Dak. Now especially they've got a top heavy roster that will struggle to win 10 games in the regular season. They'll have to cycle out of all of these big contracts and get an entirely new coaching staff before they can be legit SB contenders. It'll take several years at least for them to get to that point.

I sincerely believe Jerry is in some sort of financial hole in his other businesses and hence doesn’t want to stretch his football operations. There was a report somewhere about Saudi conglomerate interested in buying into the cowboy franchise. Of course I cannot substantiate any of this

The cowboys are predictable and getting exposed early on . Defense poor, no run game and Dak is very a likable guy says all the right things but just not the person who will elevate
them to the superbowl.
