Gaming On Youtube Has Changed

I couldn't sleep, here's some thoughts

The issue with youtube, is that there is no competition, youtube isnt concerned with fixing itself because youtubers will continue to upload.

We need a new big platform that would rival youtube. Then youtube would actually work to fix its problems to keep people on their site

Gaming on YouTube really has changed. Forced censorship for ad revenue, having to follow trends for views, and less uploads because videos need to be a certain length to get monetized.

Remember when YouTube was all "Broadcast Yourself"? It's getting pretty hard to BE yourself.

That system is very bad for indie games. New indie games are going to have a hard time breaking through if Youtubers don't get views anymore from playing those games.

Demonetization is killing it.
And people being able to claim your content.
Combined with Youtubes horrible system for content creators to fix it.
