Great review!!! What made me pull the trigger on this is I have the Action 3 and skipped the A4. This, in my opinion, is a significant upgrade from the A3 because of the Bluetooth Mic 2 connection of both mics which I have because I have a P3, that tracking feature, battery life, and the fact I can use my A3 battery charging case and batteries for the A5. All my A3 accessories work with the A5. I was gonna wait for the Insta360 Ace Pro 2, but I am so sick of the mic attachments and having to purchase the whole kit from scratch, purchasing the A5 was just the smart money choice for me.

I am so on the fence if I need this or not. Haha. I think the pocket 3 and action 4 combo is still a solid choice for now. Still though. It looks sweet.

Top job, mate. Been hanging out for this cam after being underwhemed by the Hero 13. I love how the adv combo really sets u up with all its clobber and the low light is wild. Im picking one up tomorrow. Btw can other mics connect to the OA5 orbonly DJI ones ?

I’m looking for a small camera to film inside malls and for low or artificial light vlogging and walking tours. I’m seriously considering the Ace Pro but been waiting on this release to compare them. Do you really think it’s as good as the Ace Pro for low light? Does it use Ai to reduce jitters and blurring? It looks amazing!

13 stops on such a tiny sensor… mmmm I’d compare it to 12 stops on my 1dx lol. Since you’re comparing it to big cameras.

Do you have any raw unedited footage of low light? To see the grain etc in full resolution?yup.

Internal storage is cool but should have been 128gb. 64 barely gets you anything.
