For me, the best upgrade is to drop the "OSMO" in the name and just leave it *DJI ACTION.*

Companys need to stop "upgrading" cameras wvery year and just wait 2 or 3 years to ACTUALLY upgrade the cameras.

The first youtuber that mentions the gopro 13 has hdmi out and dji action doesn’t, this feature is huge for any youtuber, streamer or studio aplication. Respect!!

It's the camera I've been waiting for to come out as my first, so it's appealing to people like me! I want it for use on my new e-bike on trails, etc. Either this or the 360 X4. It looks like the GoPro 13 has a lot to live up to with this new one from all the reviews and videos of the Action 4 to the GP12, which is why I have held off.

Just bought the 4 in may with the adventure package, my first action camera. Not gonna try to keep up with technology by buying a new camera every year. Dont even do it with a cell phone either.😊

The new GoPro 13 Black just came out this morning and I was surprised to see they didn't go to a larger sensor. They stayed at 1/1.9. I'll be buying the new DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro!

I'm wondering about this action cam, since I busted my Action4. If it uses the same battery (I bought the A4 adventure combo), I guess I'd get the 5 if there isn't a huge price difference.

Thing is. Action cameras are supposed to be very easy to use. And provide great image quality. So 3 or 4 interchangeable lenses is not easy. But an external mic with direct BT connection is. I think this 5 version has more up its sleeve than what the box suggests. Either way. I am getting it. Need to upgrade from my action 3 that have been good but not great.

I record baseball videos and the follow mode would help me having to edit and cut the clips for the shorts I create. I could see it as useful but would have to try it out. I just hope it doesn't overheat like the Action 4, I went back to the action 3 due to overheating issues.
