Nothing like watching new Jon Pall footage. Always a great pleasure. And definitely a HUGE thanks to Ab Wolders. Old school fans of powerlifting/strongman know all about Ab Wolders. Great forgotten lifter in his own right!

Åland Islands, Finland!
Those racks were homemade and are still in use. The squat rack is made of 2 car jacks :)

He was only 22, so his strength did not mature, but he later redid those lifts under power lifting rules (390, 255, 400, 427.5 with st) in an exhibition meet (Squat Raw, Bench Press Raw, Deadlift Raw, Deadlift with straps) all in KG.

Good numbers. But imagine his total at his strongest physic in 1987!!! If he didnt lose weight regularly for bodybuilding and lived 5 years more, he would have become the worlds strongest man 6 times!!! Also in 1987 he won Pure Strength against bill Kazmaier and Geoff Capes. So for me he has 5 wsm titles already!!! DEAD OR ALIVE!!!

The key is not lifting. But showmanship energy noises, that's why he is the best

The same year he first competed at the World's Strongest Man.
