It is funny how much your older daughter reminds me of myself at that age. I even went vegetarian around that age, I went Omni for a while but now vegan. FYI trader Joe's have chickenless orange chicken. Also make sure she is eating enough iron, beans and dark greens.

Obsessed with your hauls! Just as a fyi most gummies are not vegetarian if they have gelatin in them. I used to be vegetarian at her age and was surprised by how it is made. Not sure why paige is but it is 100% her choice as to her reasonings and i thought you both might not know where companies can use animal products into food that you would never think of! 😊

We no longer do the elf (youngest is 14), but when we did, I use to print off a December Calendar and write down an idea for each day. Then I would make a list of supplies I needed and go shopping. Anything I could prep in advance, I would.

I like how real your grocery shopping is - this is like what I buy for my kids to eat! Pizza rolls, absolutely lol. I have friends who eat organic, etc and judge me quite a bit.

TFS! Not sure if you know but you can scan bar codes of products on IBOTTA app to see if its the correct item. Love seeing the non food items too! So great you are supporting your daughter being vegetarian. I share a lot of vegan / vegetarian things on my channel. Our family is half vegan and the other eats meat dairy so we have a lot of mixed items in my hauls too!

I use both kinds of "butter" too. The elf cookies can also be frozen. I freeze those cookies all the time. It makes them last so much longer.

If you need a good recipe for fruit cake, let me know. We have a recipe that doesn’t have any of that wax fruit in it. It has whole maraschino cherries, Brazil nuts, pecans, dates and flour, etc. It is so good, but a bit expensive to make.
