For your salad when you open the container place paper over it then place the lid back on it and store it upside down. Every time you get some replace the paper towel it will last longer

Great haul! Just a little fyi, it's not a good idea to thaw your meat in hot water, it's best to take it out a day or 2 before u need it and let it thaw in the fridge. If I have to thaw it in water, it's best to use cold. Ps. I just found your channel about 2 weeks ago, u have quickly become one of my favorite "what's for dinner"! You make yummy meals!

Tip to save money on beans: buy dried and cook a big batch at once, then keep in reused glass jars in your freezer (make sure to cool completely and leave a little bit of space in the jar. If you do a big batch for every bean type you regularly get, you won’t have to do it that often to maintain your supply

Hello. That's a great selection on a low budget. Sorry to hear that you threw out the eggs in the past. I've had to do the same over this year, and someone told me to fill up a deep pot or bowl with cold water and put the eggs in. If they are standing they are on their way to being bad so ok, but if they float up, they are inedible and can make us ill.

Great haul girl! A little tip on maybe getting Brinley to eat veggies. Try blending them into pancake batter or noodles. Like make pancakes and then add in some veggie baby food. Or sneak them into sauces for noodles works great too. Does she like sweet potato fries? I make them homemade with just a bit of olive oil and cinnamon and my kids love them! But kids can be so tough. Our second is so much pickier than the first!
